What We Do.

Providing a service for smallholders and horse owners in our local area between Lancaster, North Preston and Blackpool. We can be called upon to assist with one off care for your animals for example goat hoof trimming or we will provide cover whilst you are away.

The high standards we set ourselves for our own animals are extended to those we care for meaning that you can be sure that your animals will receive the same levels of attention whilst you are away as they would when you are looking after them yourselves.

We are also available for a waiting in service which is invaluable if one of your animals needs the vet or farrier and you are unable to be present yourselves.

Experienced with Horses (BHSAI), Goats, Chickens, Ducks, Geese, Pigs, Sheep, Dogs, Cats and many small animals.

How much are our services?

ONE OFF ASSISTANCE  A standard call out charge of £10.50 plus £3.75 per half hour.

Examples of this service would be foot trimming of goats and sheep, help with drenching, vaccinating etc, Mucking out Poultry sheds etc.

TEMPORARY CARE  Prices from £10.50 per day for 1 visit depending on your requirements. Please email your requirements for a Quote.

Examples are horse care in DIY livery whilst you are on holiday, full small holding care whilst away

ABSENT STAFF COVER Cover for larger stable yards for planned or unplanned staff absence. £7 per Hour. To include mucking out and all stable yard duties - Sorry No Riding at present. We may be available at short notice please ring!

WAITING IN SERVICE £10.50 Call out plus £2.50 per hour until Vet/Farrier arrives then £3.75 per half hour. We will leave a written report of visit and will contact you to discuss if necessary.

Examples may be if your animals need emergency vet treatment and you are not able to be present. We may be available at short notice please ring!
